by Naomi Howland
Mom's note: This book is about a magic frying pan that makes potato pancakes. It is set in the former Soviet Union. The family is celebrating Chanukah and calls the pancakes latkes. In Ukraine most often they are called deruny. Our girls call them kremsleke.
